Cornerstone Access Fund
Charitable access support for mission-serving healthcare providers
The Cornerstone Access Fund is Bedrock Health Group’s charitable access program. It helps eligible under-resourced, rural, nonprofit, safety-net, and community-based healthcare providers access Bedrock services when administrative instability threatens provider sustainability or patient access.
Cornerstone is not a separate service line. It is the mission-based access pathway that helps qualifying organizations receive reduced-cost or no-cost support through Bedrock’s provider administrative services. maintain compliance, manage provider operations, and recover from administrative breakdowns that threaten reimbursement and patient access.
We exist so small, rural, nonprofit, and community-based providers are not left behind because of paperwork, payer complexity, or operational gaps.
What Cornerstone Does
Cornerstone helps reduce the financial barrier to essential administrative infrastructure.
Eligible organizations may receive support for:
- Provider access and enrollment support
- Provider operations and compliance support
- Administrative recovery and stabilization support
- Documentation readiness
- Payer participation support
- Compliance coordination
- Provider data and roster maintenance
- Revalidation and renewal support
- Administrative issue tracking and follow-through
Who Cornerstone Supports
Cornerstone is designed for mission-serving providers and healthcare organizations that may not have the internal capacity or financial resources to manage critical administrative work on their own.
Eligible organizations may include:
- Rural clinics
- Nonprofit provider organizations
- Safety-net providers
- Community-based healthcare organizations
- FQHCs and FQHC look-alikes
- Behavioral health organizations
- Small provider groups serving underserved communities
- Providers facing administrative instability that may affect patient access
Why Cornerstone Matters
Administrative instability can directly affect patient access.
A provider may be clinically capable, but still struggle to stay operational if enrollment files are incomplete, payer records are inaccurate, revalidations are missed, compliance documentation is weak, or reimbursement-related issues are not resolved.
Cornerstone exists to help prevent those administrative gaps from becoming access barriers for the communities that depend on these providers.
How Cornerstone Works
Eligibility Review
Bedrock reviews whether the organization fits Cornerstone’s mission, provider type, service need, and access-impact criteria.
Administrative Need Assessment
Bedrock identifies the administrative risks affecting the organization, including enrollment gaps, payer issues, compliance needs, documentation weaknesses, or operational instability.
Funding or Subsidy Determination
Eligible organizations may receive reduced-cost or no-cost access to Bedrock services based on need, available funding, mission alignment, and program capacity.
Service Delivery
Approved support is delivered through Bedrock’s provider administrative service model.
Accountability and Follow-Through
Bedrock tracks the work, documents progress, and maintains appropriate records for program accountability, reporting, and governance.
What Cornerstone Can Support
Cornerstone may help fund or subsidize access to Bedrock services related to:
- Provider enrollment and credentialing
- Medicare and Medicaid enrollment support
- Commercial payer enrollment coordination
- CAQH setup and maintenance
- Provider data corrections
- Payer roster maintenance
- Compliance documentation support
- HIPAA readiness support
- Revalidation and renewal tracking

What Cornerstone Does Not Fund
Cornerstone does not provide unrestricted cash grants.
Cornerstone does not fund services outside Bedrock’s approved scope unless separately approved through qualified partners or written agreements.
Cornerstone does not provide:
- Legal representation
- Clinical review
- Medical billing company-of-record services
- Claims submission as a primary outsourced billing function
- Insurance products
- General operating cash grants
- Unrestricted organizational funding

Cornerstone helps eligible organizations access Bedrock’s provider-facing services.

Providers engage Bedrock through services. Eligible organizations may access those services through Cornerstone when financial barriers, administrative fragility, or mission impact justify charitable support.
